BoxDirect Pro / Find freight or carriers

Find Box Truck Loads

Find loads for box trucks by starting with the actual vehicle and the full working trip. BoxDirect is a direct shipper–carrier freight marketplace: shippers post supported freight and eligible independent carriers can book or submit offers. Listings and eligibility change; this page is not a feed of available loads or a guarantee of capacity.

How to find box truck loads that fit your operation

Begin with the truck's real empty location and availability, then examine current marketplace listings for compatible cargo and appointments. A box truck load board can help you discover opportunities, but the important question is whether your particular truck can complete the whole movement. Compare approach miles, loaded travel, unloading and the position after delivery before accepting a rate.

Measure usable space, not just nominal length

Check door opening, interior height, wheel-well or body constraints where relevant, and the cargo's largest packaged dimension. Pallet count alone can conceal oversized or non-stackable items. Confirm payload independently; a shipment can fit the floor and still be too heavy for the actual truck.

Clarify the unloading plan before the pickup

Ask whether each end is dock-height, forklift-served or ground-level. Confirm any liftgate requirement and its actual capacity with the carrier; it is not automatic on every box truck. State who loads and unloads, what access is available and where the driver can safely wait.

Make local work operationally realistic

Compare approach miles, building access, appointment windows and waiting exposure, not just the short loaded distance. Use direct communication for verified entrance and receiving instructions, and keep delivery evidence with the booked shipment. A short trip still needs complete review and payment steps.

Local, regional and interstate work need different checks

A local load can use most of a working window if a receiver has limited access or a slow unloading process. A regional or interstate movement adds fuel, safe stopping, road restrictions and a longer next-pickup reposition. Confirm the actual origin and destination instead of assuming a nearby search result is a nearby truck trip.

A search for 'box truck loads near me' is a starting point, not evidence that freight is available now. Same-day, last-minute, dedicated and repeat freight must be evaluated on the actual listing and agreement. BoxDirect does not promise recurring volume, dedicated contracts or immediate pickup.

For shippers: post box truck freight with a receiving plan

To find a box truck for business freight, provide the packaged cargo measurements, gross weight, ready time and pickup and delivery windows. Say whether each facility has a dock, forklift or another agreed unloading arrangement. Confirm any liftgate requirement explicitly; the truck category does not include one automatically.

Review the carrier information and compatible equipment through the supported booking process. The carrier performs transportation. Commercial box truck delivery here does not imply household moving, white-glove handling, assembly, consumer parcel service or guaranteed arrival.

Owner-operators and small fleets: compare net working economics

An owner-operator should compare one load with the truck's next commitment, not only the posted loaded miles. A small fleet should confirm the particular unit and driver plan before allocating the trip; company-wide capacity is not proof that the correct unit is ready. Keep payroll, maintenance, accounting and legal driving-time checks in the systems your business needs.

For new bookings, BoxDirect's 10% platform fee is included in the agreed freight amount and deducted before the carrier payout, not added on top of the shipper's booked price. A $1,000 freight booking allocates $100 to the platform and $900 to the carrier before other applicable deductions. Historical bookings retain their agreed totals.

Connect, track and review without treating visibility as a guarantee

Carrier verification refers to BoxDirect's business, insurance and identity-document review and eligibility workflow. It does not guarantee safety, performance, available capacity or coverage for a particular loss. Independent carriers perform transportation; this page does not classify BoxDirect as a motor carrier, freight broker, insurance provider or guarantor.

After booking and pickup, use shipment communication, available tracking and ETA to coordinate with the receiver. Keep delivery evidence connected to the load and report discrepancies through the actual review process. Tracking does not certify a legal route or a driver's remaining hours, and uploaded POD does not automatically authorize payout.

Shipper payment, delivery approval, administrator payout review and bank settlement are separate steps. Delivery approval does not automatically release money. Reported problems require administrative resolution, and bank processing times vary.

Account registration & freight pricing

Account registration costs $0 USD. Freight rates vary by load, and displayed transportation and payment terms apply. The $0 offer is for account creation only; it does not mean free transportation or no platform fees.

Frequently asked questions

Which box-truck sizes are active on BoxDirect?

The active selections are 16-, 20-, 24- and 26-foot box trucks. Actual usable dimensions, payload and handling equipment must be confirmed for the assigned vehicle.

Does every box-truck booking include a liftgate?

No. Confirm that requirement, availability and capacity explicitly before booking. A body-length category does not establish the truck's loading equipment.

Can I substitute a cargo van or reefer for a box-truck load?

Do not assume so. Cargo van, Sprinter and refrigerated workflows are outside the active equipment scope. Book only freight compatible with the supported equipment and agreed requirements.

Where can I find local or regional box truck loads?

Review actual BoxDirect marketplace listings and check their facilities, equipment, cargo and time windows against your truck. Use the state guides below for route and receiver planning, not as a list of current local loads.

Can an owner-operator find direct shipper loads here?

Eligible independent carriers can evaluate supported shipper postings, book or submit offers and communicate directly. There is no promise of daily freight, a dedicated contract or a particular income.
