Translate the production requirement into freight facts
State the actual packaged dimensions, weight, quantity and handling method rather than only a part number or production reference. Identify whether the material needs temperature control or specialized equipment; those requirements may place it outside BoxDirect's active enclosed dry-freight scope.
Document plant access and loading readiness
Give the commercial gate, check-in instructions, dock appointment and loading contact. Clarify whether freight is ready now or depends on production completion. A carrier's arrival does not make unfinished goods ready, and a matching vehicle does not resolve a plant's restricted access or unloading constraints.
Connect exceptions to the shipment record
Communicate a changed release time or receiving window with the carrier and keep the operational details associated with the booked load. Use available tracking and delivery records to inform the receiving team, not as a guaranteed just-in-time supply or an automated production-system integration.
Supported equipment, review scope and booking economics
BoxDirect supports enclosed box/straight trucks in its active 16-, 20-, 24- and 26-foot categories, plus 53-foot dry vans. This does not mean every straight-truck body or service is supported. Confirm the assigned vehicle's dimensions, payload and loading equipment; a size label alone does not establish suitability.
Carrier verification refers to BoxDirect's business, insurance and identity-document review and eligibility workflow. It does not guarantee safety, performance, available capacity or coverage for a particular loss. Independent carriers perform transportation; this page does not classify BoxDirect as a motor carrier, freight broker, insurance provider or guarantor.
For new bookings, BoxDirect's 10% platform fee is included in the agreed freight amount and deducted before the carrier payout, not added on top of the shipper's booked price. A $1,000 freight booking allocates $100 to the platform and $900 to the carrier before other applicable deductions. Historical bookings retain their agreed totals.
Shipper payment, delivery approval, administrator payout review and bank settlement are separate steps. Delivery approval does not automatically release money. Reported problems require administrative resolution, and bank processing times vary.
Account registration & freight pricing
Account registration costs $0 USD. Freight rates vary by load, and displayed transportation and payment terms apply. The $0 offer is for account creation only; it does not mean free transportation or no platform fees.

Frequently asked questions
Can BoxDirect guarantee a just-in-time production delivery?
No. Provide the required windows and assess carrier suitability, but do not treat freight matching or ETA visibility as a guarantee against a production interruption.
Are heavy parts suitable if they fit in a dry van?
Only after confirming actual cargo weight, axle distribution, securement, loading equipment and legal route suitability. Available cubic space alone does not establish payload compatibility.
Does BoxDirect integrate with my manufacturing ERP?
No specific ERP integration is represented. Keep required production and inventory systems, and verify any integration requirement separately.
