BoxDirect Pro / Guides for your business

Freight for warehouse managers

Make the booked truck movement easier to receive by publishing accurate dock, cargo and appointment information. BoxDirect connects the shipment's parties and records, but it is not a warehouse, yard or dock-scheduling management system.

Confirm release readiness before calling a truck

Verify that the final cargo is picked, measured and available for the stated window. Provide the gross weight, packaging and loading method. If readiness depends on another inbound shipment or production step, communicate that dependency instead of treating the pickup time as unconditional.

Describe the real commercial gate and dock

Give the correct entrance, check-in contact, dock access and safe staging instructions. Confirm whether the site can receive a box truck, a 53-foot dry van or both. A driver's map pin is not a substitute for a safe approach or confirmation that the assigned loading equipment will work.

Review the handoff, not just the arrival

Use the shipment's communication and available tracking to coordinate readiness, then review the pickup or delivery evidence and any discrepancies. A truck at the property has not necessarily finished loading or unloading, and a delivery document does not automatically establish payout authorization.

Supported equipment, review scope and booking economics

BoxDirect supports enclosed box/straight trucks in its active 16-, 20-, 24- and 26-foot categories, plus 53-foot dry vans. This does not mean every straight-truck body or service is supported. Confirm the assigned vehicle's dimensions, payload and loading equipment; a size label alone does not establish suitability.

Carrier verification refers to BoxDirect's business, insurance and identity-document review and eligibility workflow. It does not guarantee safety, performance, available capacity or coverage for a particular loss. Independent carriers perform transportation; this page does not classify BoxDirect as a motor carrier, freight broker, insurance provider or guarantor.

For new bookings, BoxDirect's 10% platform fee is included in the agreed freight amount and deducted before the carrier payout, not added on top of the shipper's booked price. A $1,000 freight booking allocates $100 to the platform and $900 to the carrier before other applicable deductions. Historical bookings retain their agreed totals.

Shipper payment, delivery approval, administrator payout review and bank settlement are separate steps. Delivery approval does not automatically release money. Reported problems require administrative resolution, and bank processing times vary.

Account registration & freight pricing

Account registration costs $0 USD. Freight rates vary by load, and displayed transportation and payment terms apply. The $0 offer is for account creation only; it does not mean free transportation or no platform fees.

Frequently asked questions

Does BoxDirect automatically schedule my warehouse docks?

No dock-scheduling or yard-management automation is claimed. Keep your existing process and communicate the confirmed appointment in the shipment requirements.

What information prevents a wrong-gate arrival?

Provide the commercial entrance, truck approach instructions, check-in contact, appointment and staging rules. Confirm any site-specific access constraint with the assigned carrier.

Does truck arrival mean the load is ready for delivery approval?

No. Verify actual delivery completion, evidence and any discrepancies. Delivery review, administrator payout review and bank settlement remain separate.
