Turn the order into a load-ready specification
Confirm the final pallet dimensions, stackability and gross weight after the order is picked. Tell the carrier whether loading is by forklift or dock and whether the receiver has the same capability. An order-line count is not a transport-capacity measurement.
Evaluate partial space without assuming network service
Select Full or Partial according to the shipment's actual requirements. If shared space is acceptable, confirm handling and schedule constraints with the carrier. A Partial designation does not create an LTL terminal service, automatic pooling or a guaranteed consolidation price.
Give receiving teams a useful handoff
Keep the appointment contact, commercial entrance and delivery paperwork tied to the booked shipment. Use available progress updates to prepare the receiver, then review POD and any discrepancies. A missing or damaged item should be documented rather than assumed resolved because the truck reached the destination.
Supported equipment, review scope and booking economics
BoxDirect supports enclosed box/straight trucks in its active 16-, 20-, 24- and 26-foot categories, plus 53-foot dry vans. This does not mean every straight-truck body or service is supported. Confirm the assigned vehicle's dimensions, payload and loading equipment; a size label alone does not establish suitability.
Carrier verification refers to BoxDirect's business, insurance and identity-document review and eligibility workflow. It does not guarantee safety, performance, available capacity or coverage for a particular loss. Independent carriers perform transportation; this page does not classify BoxDirect as a motor carrier, freight broker, insurance provider or guarantor.
For new bookings, BoxDirect's 10% platform fee is included in the agreed freight amount and deducted before the carrier payout, not added on top of the shipper's booked price. A $1,000 freight booking allocates $100 to the platform and $900 to the carrier before other applicable deductions. Historical bookings retain their agreed totals.
Shipper payment, delivery approval, administrator payout review and bank settlement are separate steps. Delivery approval does not automatically release money. Reported problems require administrative resolution, and bank processing times vary.
Account registration & freight pricing
Account registration costs $0 USD. Freight rates vary by load, and displayed transportation and payment terms apply. The $0 offer is for account creation only; it does not mean free transportation or no platform fees.

Frequently asked questions
Is a Partial load a conventional LTL service?
Not necessarily. BoxDirect does not promise a terminal-network LTL service. Confirm the actual capacity, handling and appointment agreement with the booked carrier.
Can BoxDirect allocate warehouse inventory?
No inventory-allocation or warehouse-management capability is claimed. Finalize the cargo details in your own operations and post the actual shipment requirements.
What should be checked for a pallet replenishment load?
Check packaged dimensions, stackability, total weight, loading and unloading equipment, dock access and pickup and delivery windows before selecting the supported vehicle.
