Separate inventory freight from individual parcel delivery
An inventory movement between a supplier and a warehouse has different requirements from sending individual orders to shoppers. Define the actual freight leg, packaged dimensions, weight and receiving location. Do not assume a supported truck booking provides sorting, parcel labels or a last-mile delivery network.
Check warehouse appointments and cargo presentation
Confirm palletization, stackability, loading equipment and the receiver's check-in and documentation needs. If an appointment depends on an external warehouse system, verify it independently before booking. BoxDirect does not promise a marketplace or fulfillment-platform integration that reserves receiving slots for you.
Keep transit evidence separate from inventory receipt
Available tracking and POD help document the road movement. They do not establish that a fulfillment operation has counted, stowed or made every item sellable. Review freight delivery separately from your inventory reconciliation, and document transport discrepancies through the shipment's process.
Supported equipment, review scope and booking economics
BoxDirect supports enclosed box/straight trucks in its active 16-, 20-, 24- and 26-foot categories, plus 53-foot dry vans. This does not mean every straight-truck body or service is supported. Confirm the assigned vehicle's dimensions, payload and loading equipment; a size label alone does not establish suitability.
Carrier verification refers to BoxDirect's business, insurance and identity-document review and eligibility workflow. It does not guarantee safety, performance, available capacity or coverage for a particular loss. Independent carriers perform transportation; this page does not classify BoxDirect as a motor carrier, freight broker, insurance provider or guarantor.
For new bookings, BoxDirect's 10% platform fee is included in the agreed freight amount and deducted before the carrier payout, not added on top of the shipper's booked price. A $1,000 freight booking allocates $100 to the platform and $900 to the carrier before other applicable deductions. Historical bookings retain their agreed totals.
Shipper payment, delivery approval, administrator payout review and bank settlement are separate steps. Delivery approval does not automatically release money. Reported problems require administrative resolution, and bank processing times vary.
Account registration & freight pricing
Account registration costs $0 USD. Freight rates vary by load, and displayed transportation and payment terms apply. The $0 offer is for account creation only; it does not mean free transportation or no platform fees.

Frequently asked questions
Can BoxDirect replace a parcel carrier for individual orders?
No parcel delivery network is claimed. Evaluate BoxDirect for a supported freight movement with compatible equipment, access and handling requirements.
Does BoxDirect reserve fulfillment-center receiving appointments?
No automatic fulfillment-center appointment integration is represented. Confirm the appointment and receiving requirements through the relevant operation before posting or booking.
Does POD mean inventory has been stowed and is ready to sell?
No. POD documents delivery evidence for the transport movement. Counting, stowing and sellable-inventory status belong to the receiving and inventory process.
