Post the information a carrier needs to decide

Specify exact locations, pickup and delivery windows, equipment, cargo dimensions, weight and the offered rate. Select Full or Partial deliberately. Include dock and handling requirements so the carrier can assess fit before booking or making an offer rather than discovering a mismatch at the gate.

Review suitability alongside document verification

BoxDirect's onboarding includes business, insurance and identity-document review. The public requirements include $1 million auto liability and $100,000 cargo coverage. Those requirements are not a promise that a particular loss is insured; confirm shipment suitability and applicable policy terms.

Close the delivery through the actual review process

Follow available tracking and ETA while communicating with the carrier about exceptions. After delivery, review the evidence and approve delivery or report a problem through the supported process. Approval queues administrator payout review; it does not automatically transfer funds or establish bank settlement.

Choose a box truck or a 53-foot dry van from the receiving requirements

A smaller shipment does not automatically need a smaller truck, and a large trailer does not automatically solve unloading. Compare cargo measurements and weight with the vehicle's usable payload, door opening and loading equipment. Check access at both facilities before choosing the category.

BoxDirect supports enclosed box/straight trucks in its active 16-, 20-, 24- and 26-foot categories, plus 53-foot dry vans. This does not mean every straight-truck body or service is supported. Confirm the assigned vehicle's dimensions, payload and loading equipment; a size label alone does not establish suitability.

If you need to hire a box truck for commercial freight, say whether the receiver has a dock, forklift or a confirmed ground-level arrangement. For dry van capacity, confirm the complete trailer approach and backing space. A compatible carrier must evaluate the actual load, not only a pallet count.

Post, consider carrier interest and confirm the booking

Post the shipment details and offered rate through the actual workflow. Eligible carriers can book or submit offers; the available action depends on the load's state and eligibility. Review the carrier and shipment information, resolve unclear instructions and check the confirmed booking state before treating capacity as assigned.

A pending offer is not a guaranteed truck. A direct message is not a substitute for the applicable booking or payment step. Keep the commercial entrance, appointment contact and shipment changes in the correct load's record.

Local, regional and urgent freight need honest windows

For local commercial delivery, include loading access and the time the receiver can actually unload. Regional or interstate freight needs a realistic ready time and transit assessment by the carrier. If a request is same-day or expedited, state the actual deadline and assess eligibility; no dedicated capacity, expedited-service guarantee or immediate match is promised.

Carrier verification refers to BoxDirect's business, insurance and identity-document review and eligibility workflow. It does not guarantee safety, performance, available capacity or coverage for a particular loss. Independent carriers perform transportation; this page does not classify BoxDirect as a motor carrier, freight broker, insurance provider or guarantor.

Review tracking as available shipment information, not a guaranteed arrival or a legal truck route. After delivery, assess the evidence and any reported issue through the actual review process. Use an appropriate service if the job needs equipment, handling or transportation modes outside the active scope.

For new bookings, BoxDirect's 10% platform fee is included in the agreed freight amount and deducted before the carrier payout, not added on top of the shipper's booked price. A $1,000 freight booking allocates $100 to the platform and $900 to the carrier before other applicable deductions. Historical bookings retain their agreed totals.

Shipper payment, delivery approval, administrator payout review and bank settlement are separate steps. Delivery approval does not automatically release money. Reported problems require administrative resolution, and bank processing times vary.
